Specific Defect Analysis – This is suitable for home owners or purchasers who require advice or guidance on a specific building defect or maintenance issue. The report is tailored specifically to the clients needs to give information about the cause, the level of damage and how to resolve the issue along with an idea of the cost implication. It may be a requirement of an insurance claim or just for your own peace of mind.
New Build Snagging Report – developers/builders often give a small window of time to report snagging issues following completion of your new property. Our detailed snagging report will identify any incomplete, incorrect or substandard work and can then formulate a snagging schedule for the client to refer back to the developer/builder to rectify. If necessary we can be appointed to liaise with the developer/builder on the client’s behalf in order to resolve any defects or disputes.
Expert Witness Reports – in the event of a dispute, perhaps with a contractor, managing agent or other surveyor, a report from an expert witness may be required to give an independent, objective and unbiased view to help each party (or the Court) understand the matter and reach a sound and just decision. Reports can be produced in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules as a Single Joint Expert when we are appointed by the Court.
